The 100 Day Waste Reduction Challenge is a huge success
To launch the 100 Day Waste Reduction Challenge, Enventure organised a town centre launch on 26th February. The cold weather and wind didn’t put residents off coming to the launch. Hundreds of residents attended the launch, many of which watched one of the demonstrations on cooking with leftovers and making/mending clothes with sewing master classess.
Residents also had the chance to take part in one of the games aimed at illustrating how much waste we throw away and how easy it is to reduce our waste.
The roadshow was also supported by Dee FM Radio, which interviewed Dave Mooney, celebrity chef, Jody Sherratt of Cheshire West & Chester Council, and members of the public.
