Managing DirectorMark Robinson
Mark has over 11 years experience of working with, or for, local authorities. He joined Enventure in 1999 and became a Director in 2003. Before joining Enventure, he worked in the public sector gaining an understanding of how local authorities operate.
Mark has considerable experience working on a variety of research projects in the public sector, with particular expertise in the recycling and waste field. He has gained a thorough understanding on the issues surrounding recycling and engaging householders and has developed communication and research tools to support local authorities in getting messages across to householders. He has undertaken research to understand perceptions and attitudes towards recycling. Mark has worked for a wide range of clients including Devon County Council, Calderdale Council, Trafford Council, Liverpool City Council and Sheffield City Council.
Mark is an associate member of the MRS and gained the Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors in 2007. He is also a member of Social Research Association (SRA) and the Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM).
Finance DirectorChris Jones
Chris is a dually qualified accountant – Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Association of Certified Accountants – working in practice and industry for over twenty years. Prior to joining Enventure over ten years ago he developed strong business skills across a diverse range of industries.
As well as being the director responsible for the finance department, budgeting, banking, accounting, payroll, pension schemes he also leads on compliance and quality standards, Chris was also awarded an MBA from the University of Strathclyde in 1993 and gained the Diploma in Company Direction in 2001.
Business Development & Marketing OfficerMichael Brooke
Michael a marketing graduate with an additional CIM postgraduate diploma in marketing joined Enventure in 2006. Prior to Enventure, Michael worked for a number of market leading service companies where he has developed a comprehensive understanding of product and campaign management, market research methodologies, communications planning and business development both in the UK and Australia.
Michael is now responsible for introducing Enventure’s services and expertise to a national client base, with a focus on establishing relationships and developing tailored research solutions. From a client perspective, Michael is involved in the planning and execution of marketing communication projects.
Research ManagerSophie Withnall
Sophie manages Enventure’s market research offer, and has ten years’ experience working on a wide variety of public sector research, including work with local & central government and education & training providers, such as higher education institutions, learning & skills councils and qualifications authorities.
Sophie joined Enventure in 2007 having worked for social research agencies, Heist and RBA Research. She has extensive experience in conducting research with residents, staff, students and businesses and has particular expertise in researching harder-to-reach groups.
Sophie is a graduate of the universities of Kent and Sheffield. She holds the MRS Certificate in Research and is completing work on the MRS Fast Track Scheme to become a Full Member of the MRS. She is also a member of the Association of Qualitative Researchers.
Research ConsultantLynsey Gillard
Lynsey has a strong environmental background having worked for the Environment Agency and is currently in the process of working towards the post graduate certificate in Sustainable Waste Management.
She has considerable experience of developing and managing a range of quantitative and qualitative research techniques such as face to face surveys, postal surveys, focus groups and mystery shopper campaigns to engage a whole host of local authority audiences.
Lynsey also has significant experience of developing tailored web based surveys which range from simple satisfaction surveys to detailed information gathering exercises.
Junior ConsultantVictoria Slingsby
Victoria is our most recent addition to the team. As Junior Consultant, Victoria’s role will include assisting and managing Enventure’s research and communications projects.
She graduated from the Durham University with a degree in Natural Science. After graduating, Victoria worked within a local authority waste collection and recycling department, gaining experience in communication campaigns, project management, service development and public relations. Victoria is a graduate member of the IEMA.
Fieldwork & Operations SupportHelen Wilkinson
Helen has been with Enventure for five years and is responsible for supporting the day to day running of the company. Helen's main responsibility is to support the research consultants and fieldworkers, with the planning, training and set up of projects, and the collation and coordination of data. Other duties include office management, recruitment, payroll and purchasing.
