Guildford Recycling Participation Monitors

Enventure is looking to recruit a small team of Recycling Participation Monitors to work for a three week period during March in the Guildford area.

The role of Participation Monitor will involve monitoring and recording what recycling containers residents have put out for collection in order to understand the participation rates within the recycling scheme available to residents.

The successful candidates will need to be available for various shifts throughout the week, working either full (Monday to Friday) or part time (2 to 3 days a week) hours.

Monitoring will start at approximately 7am each day and will finish at approximately 1pm (although you will need to have some flexibility). The monitor will need to work slightly ahead of the crew to undertake the monitoring correctly. The role will also include inputting the data/results into Microsoft Excel at home, for an additional hour each day.

The working week will be up to 35 hours depending on the number of shifts taken. You will need to be reasonably fit as there is a lot of walking involved and have a car or the ability to get to a required starting location by 7am.

Participation Monitors will receive training covering their duties and health & safety issues before the project begins.

Pay: £7.40 per hour with a potential bonus upon successful completion of the work.
