05 10 09 Anti-Social Behaviour Research

Enventure has once again been commissioned by Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust to carry out a programme of research in a defined area of Middlesbrough which is currently suffering a spate of anti-social behaviour and low level crime.

The research, specifically targeted at young people and their parents, aims to understand how the issues of underage consumption of alcohol, anti-social behaviour, and the recent dispersal order can be addressed in order to inform the format of interventions encouraging young people to engage in alternative activities.

Enventure plans to complete this research by interviewing the young people congregating in this area, conducting focus groups with parents, and a Mutual Understanding Exercise between young people and representatives from the PCT and its partners.
