What is RSS?

RSS allows you to identify the website content you like and have it delivered directly to you. It takes the hassle out of staying up-to-date, by showing you the very latest information that you are interested in.

To be precise RSS is a format for web based information that can be interpreted by an RSS reader so that selected sources of information can viewed from one place easily.

Not all websites currently provide RSS, but it is growing rapidly in popularity and many others, including the BBC, Guardian and CNN do provide it.

Why Use RSS?

If you use RSS technology it will greatly improve the speed and ease of gaining the information you want. It allows you or to be kept well informed, without the need to wade through a sea of many different websites and pages.
