Enventure Research has successfully completed another Community Strategy consultation, this time on behalf of Thurrock Borough Council. The consultation included an online, postal and on-street survey, seven focus groups and two workshops. The aim of the consultation was to refresh the Community Strategy, the Council’s vision and priorities to ensure they meet the needs of local people and stakeholders.
Natalie Warren, Community Development Manager, Chief Executive’s Delivery Unit comments, “We are more than pleased with our work with Enventure Research. Their methodology has really helped build confidence across stakeholders that we have a sound evidence base to build our refreshed Community Strategy
on. We have had very positive feedback from those involved about the support provided by Enventure and would recommend them for similar work with other authorities”.
Dr Joanne Harvatt, Enventure’s Research Manager, was delighted to have the opportunity to facilitate workshops alongside Graham Farrant (Chief Executive)
and Cllr John Kent (Leader of the Council) and is pleased that the consultation has been viewed so positively by those involved.
Thurrock Borough Council has now published Enventure’s Community Strategy overiew from the consultation.
