Enventure Research working with the Sustainable Development Unit

May 23, 2019

NHS England and Public Health England fund the Sustainable Development Unit (SDU) and also hold them to account. The role of the SDU is to work across the NHS, public health and social care system to promote sustainable development to ensure that the health and care system fulfils its potential as a leading sustainable and low carbon service.

The SDU wished to survey primary and social care providers regarding their level of adaptation to climate change and extreme weather, and subsequently commissioned Enventure Research to assist in the questionnaire development and delivery of the survey.

A letter was sent out to care homes, nursing homes and homecare agencies inviting them to take part in the online survey, whilst an online survey link was promoted to GP practices and pharmacies.

Enventure Research provided the anonymised raw data to the SDU in addition to a topline summary report, detailing the survey findings in clear and easy to understand charts.
