The Project
Manchester City Council, commissioned Enventure Research to conduct a face-to-face customer experience survey with Heaton Park visitors in order to collect information about various facilities and attractions throughout the park and gain a better understanding of the customer experience.
Research Methods
A questionnaire was designed by Enventure Research and Manchester City Council to meet the objectives of the research, which took approximately seven minutes to administer. A total of 602 interviews were collated over the two week fieldwork period, ensuring that it was carried out over the school summer holiday. Interviews were conducted at a number of locations across the park with visitors who had utilised attractions and businesses where specific feedback was required.
Results and Benefits to the Client
Enventure Research analysed the results from the survey and presented them in a detailed research report which highlighted a very positive overall rating of Heaton Park. The research findings provided Manchester City Council with valuable insight to help to shape and inform improvements to service provision and also feed into activities to help promote the park and engage current users to return and extend their stay and to attract potential new users.
