Enventure Research was appointed by the Western Riverside Waste Authority (WRWA) to undertake a face-to-face survey assessing levels of satisfaction in visitors to the Smugglers Way Wandsworth Household Waste and Recycling Centre (HWRC). Residents of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Lambeth and Wandsworth are frequent visitors to this HWRC. The site had reopened in September 2012 following a complete refurbishment.
A short questionnaire was designed in partnership between Enventure Research and WRWA and administered with the aid of tablet computers.
The survey was conducted over a full seven-day period by a small team of staff who were experienced in engaging with members of the public in relation to recycling services. The engagement team were present at the site during all opening hours, and aimed to speak with as many visitors as possible. In total, over 800 visitors participated in the questionnaire.
Results and Benefits to the Client
Following the fieldwork period, Enventure Research provided WRWA with the raw survey data ready for analysis.
