Researching Housing Association Residents’ Attitudes Towards Saving Energy

May 31, 2013

Enventure Research has been commissioned by the national housing association Affinity Sutton to conduct research to evaluate its recent EnergyFit scheme.

In response to an anticipated high incidence of fuel poverty amongst its residents, Affinity Sutton designed a project called EnergyFit. As part of the project, residents received a toolkit with lifestyle advice and information to help them understand their energy usage, better use their heating system and save money. Affinity Sutton wished to conduct research to evaluate the impact of EnergyFit and commissioned Enventure to conduct a telephone survey of those residents who had received a toolkit.
The survey will be administered via Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing. Enventure Research will then analyse the results to provide useful feedback to Affinity Sutton to allow them to inform and improve the second phase of the EnergyFit project, due to commence in September 2013.
