Social marketing research findings presented at NHS conference

Mar 1, 2012

Following the first phase of scoping research in which over 1,500 staff took part, Enventure Research presented its findings at the launch of the Strategic Health Authority’s ambition to ‘Eliminate avoidable Grade 2, 3 and 4 pressure ulcers by December 2012’ in Cambridge.

The conference was attended by over 250 key health officials from the NHS Midlands and East, which has recently formed from the merger of NHS East of England, NHS East Midlands and NHS West Midlands.

We received some valuable feedback from delegates on the findings, in particular the speed that the research had taken place so that the campaign can be launched at the end of March.

The findings are being used by the Pressure Ulcers Communications Project Group to form the development of a communication campaign that will target frontline staff.  The next phase of the research will involve focus groups testing the communication materials in terms of tone and messages.
